Whether its purchased by the bottle or from the tap, water, is the cheapest and healthiest drink option. Eight, 8 ounce glasses per day will keep you full, hydrated and your skin will be better and brighter. Water hydrates but it also cleanses the system and keeps things moving. 

Regularly hydrating yourself has been known to increase energy and relieve fatigue as well as boost your immune system and flush out toxins. 

Electrolyte-loaded athletic drinks can be a source of unnecessary calories so drinking plain water is fine until you're exercising for more than one hour a day. At that point, feel free to go for regular Gatorade-type drinks, which can give you a beneficial replenishment boost.
