Cinnamon Apple Chips

Cinnamon Apple Chips

Easy to make and have on hand as a low calorie, nutritional snack

Prep Time 15        Cook Time 2hrs 30 min      Total Time 2hrs 45min

Ingredients

4 apples cored and sliced 1/8” thick (mandolins work great if you have one)

1-2 tsp ground cinnamon

1-2 tsp granulated sugar (if desired)

Cooking spray

Instructions 

Preheat oven to 200 degrees F

Add the sliced apples to a bowl; then coat the apples with the cinnamon and sugar

Spray a baking sheet with cooking spray and line the apples flat on the pan. You may need to use two pans so the apples don't overlap.

Bake 2-3 hours so the apples are dry yet still soft. Allow them to cool completely before placing them in an air tight container for up to 4 days (If they last that long!)

 

Makes 4 servings (1 apple is equal to 1 serving)
