Deep Sea Dining?

Architectural firm Snohetta has designed some of the world’s most notable public and cultural projects. They have now added yet another landmark to their extensive repertoire - Europe’s very first underwater restaurant.
Located at the southernmost point of the Norwegian coastline the restaurant’s dramatic monolithic form breaks the water surface to lie against a craggy shoreline.

With its immediate proximity to the forces of nature, the restaurant, which will also function as a research center for marine life, is a tribute to the Norwegian coast and wild fauna of the sea.
